I have mentioned that Saudi celebrates two main holydays, Eid Alftir and Eid Aladha, but Shia has another celebration. It is called “Qerqeian”. This celebration occurs in 15th of Ramadan. In the night of 15th of Ramadan, children go around the neighborhood warding traditional clothes, and asking for a treat. This celebration based on a birthday of the first grandson of prophet Mohamed, as Shia believe. Here some photo of my neighborhood on 15th of Ramadan.
