iPad Helps Archaeologists

Technology is rapidly increasing, making jobs for archeologists much easier then ever before. Technology is making excavations much simpler and it is allowing archeologists not to carry as much supplies and tools.

A recent excavation that used ipads happened at the site of the Roman city that was buried under volcano in 79 A.D. Archaeologists are doing analysis of homes, shops and businesses at forgotten areas in the busiest gates of Pompeii, the Porta Stabia.

Ipads have made the recording data so much easier. Archeologists no longer have to take precise measurements, or draw out notes with a paper and pencil. Now archeologists can use ipads to do all the work for them. Now they can electronically transfer all the information that they conduct on site.

After reading this article, it made me realize just how important technology is. People use technology everyday, and its not just used to text, call or email, technology is rapidly increasing and making the lives of people much easier.
