Anthropology in Greek Life

Being a member of a fraternity i have started to make a connection between anthropology and greek life. The connection i have made is the tradition and ritual that is passed on through the members of the organization. The exact same rituals are taught by the older members to the younger members and passed on from generation to generation. I find this very interesting that a group or organization carries on these rituals and they stay the same for many years. Of course some traditions die while others are born. Even with these new traditions the ideals our founding fathers instilled over 150 years ago still stick with us and practiced today.
