Whale Rider Movie
When I watched this movie, I remembered the trip that I went with international student in Fort Collins, Colorado. I this trip each student present his country either by a traditional song, game, poem or story. One of the student, I think he is from Tajikistan, did the same dance that the people in the movie do it. He did the same motions of the dance even the extended tongue. He said that in his culture they do it so protect them from the bad luck or to give the a good luck. Here is a clip that I recorded that day.
