On May 1, Osama bin Laden was killed by US Navy Seals. They stormed his compound and shot him right about his left eye. After he was killed the body was transported to USS Carl Vincent and a DNA check taken to confirm it truly was Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden was buried at sea just as muslin tradition requests. There was a muslin seaman on deck that preformed the correct prayers. This was done not to infuriate the muslin world.
I find it interesting that the muslin traditions were carried out and respected. I do question how sincere this truly was but the thought is what counts in this situation. The fact is that all the muslin death traditions were carried out and that is all the muslin community can ask from American.
